I enjoy many different hobbies. First of all, I like playing basketball. I even have a class after school and I enjoy it a lot. My favorite position is a point guard. A point guard is a person who brings it up court.

Third is Chess and I play with my little brother. My favorite piece is the queen because you can almost move it any where.

I will post more about what happens in my life soon.
Do you share any of my hobbies?
How do you like blogging?
Dear Parsa,
ReplyDeleteA big congratulations on your new blog!
I also like basketball! My favorite position is also point guard, but I am usually Center. This year I am the youngest in the league and the tallest on my team. On the Xbox when I play basketball I made a player named Aidan.
What is your best memory from basketball?
How many points do you score a game
Sincerely,
Aidan and Jakob
@ Aidan and Jakob,
DeleteThank you!
I know you play basketball and you are very good. My best memory is when I made a basket around half court. You are one of the tallest people I know, and you get a lot of rebounds. When I play in a league I am usually a point guard. I am also a point guard when I play with my friends. Usually I make about 10 point per game, but I usually pass the ball.
Sincerely,
Parsa
Dear Parsa,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I adore your blog and I also hope you get many readers and comments. It is so much fun to make posts and comment back.
When I first got my blog, Mia's Marvelous Moments, whenever somebody commented, I would jump on the computer, and comment back as fast as I can. But once Mrs. Yollis tweets you out, people all over the world will comment on your blog. On my welcome post I got 28 comments! After all those comments, I got tired. Everything started to slow down, and I was blogging only two or three times a week.
What are you going to do for your next post?
Are you enjoying your blog?
Sincerely,
⚔ M♥a ⚔
@ Mia,
DeleteThank you for your congratulations!
I usually comment back to one person every day. Right now, Mrs. Yollis has not tweeted out my blog, but when she does I have to be ready. I might even have to put in the charger forever. I might live the rest of my life on the computer.
So far, how long have you been on your computer?
What is the hardest part of having a blog in your opinion?
What is your favorite part of having a blog?
Do you enjoy having a blog?
Sincerely,
Parsa
Dear Parsa
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on earning your own blog. A momentous occasion for you!
I love the action shot of you playing basketball. Years ago, I played in a basketball team for a few seasons, in our local competition. Nowadays my hobbies are reading and walking.
Who taught you to play chess? Do you play just for fun or might you play chess competitively one day?
best wishes
Mrs McKenzie from New Zealand
@ Mrs. McKenzie,
DeleteThank you!
I walk around a lot too because I have to go a lot of places with my family. Today we went to 5 places. My friend taught me how to play chess. He is a great teacher because now I am better than him. I usually play chess for fun! Sometimes I play to see who is better, and we might call many rematches.
Did you watch basketball when you played it, if so what was your favorite team? My favorite is the L.A. Clippers.
Sincerely,
Parsa
Dear Parsa,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on earning your own blog. We both chose the same scenic background. I really like the photo of you jumping up to throw the basketball into the hoop. You jump extremely high. My little brother, Michael also likes to play basketball. We just received a new basketball hoop for our yard.
I can't wait to see what you will post next.
Sincerely,
Sarah
@ Sarah,
DeleteThank you!
I thought that you have a orange background. Did you change yours? When Mrs. Yollis was taking the picture she told me to jump as high as I could, so I did. Professional basketball players can jump much higher. They can jump 2-3 feet high, and congratulations for your little brother.
Can your brother dunk in the new hoop?
How tall is the new hoop?
Can you fit it inside your house, or do you have to take it in your backyard?
Sincerely,
Parsa
Dear Parsa,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the wonderful world of blogging! I know that you are going to enjoy sharing and learning from your readers.
I think the photo I took of you playing basketball turned out great! At first, I thought that it would be too blurry because you were jumping to make the shot, but it looks terrific and tells the story.
Who taught you how to play chess? Are you in a club?
Your proud teacher,
Mrs. Y♥llis
@ Mrs. Yollis,
DeleteYou are right, it is wonderful! I also thought that it was going to look blurry too, because I was moving very fast. My friend taught me how to play chess. I don't like to go to classes for chess that much, so I did not sign up.
Do you play chess?
Sincerely,
Parsa
Dear Parsa,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on earning your own blog! Are you as excited as I am about earning your own blog? WOW! Your action shot was amazing! I have never played chess before but it sounds fun. Maybe we can play chess together someday... or basketball. I had a fun time commenting on your blog.
Your friend,
Sammy
@ Sammy,
DeleteThank you!
Congratulations! I was very happy when I heard that I earned my own blog. Sometimes I see you play basketball at school. I would enjoy having you and me play those games. Maybe that could happen one day.
What is the easiest thing to do with your blog?
Sincerely,
Parsa
Dear Parsa,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on earning your own blog! You must have worked really hard. For example, you left a lot of quality comments, did your homework, and showed up to school on time everyday.
I have some questions for you:
What is it like having a blog?
What are the responsibilities? If so, is it challenging?
Does it take a long time to set up a blog?
It's a coincidence that you and I have the same hobbies. I enjoy chess and basketball, too!
Your classmate,
Brenden
@ Brenden,
DeleteThank you!
It was very hard, but as long as you do your best you will always be successful. It is a lot of fun and wonderful. It is challenging because if you forget something, like your homework for like 5 times for the year, you would not get a blog. It took me like 1 week to get it ready. Sometimes I play basketball with you and it is fun.
Sincerely,
Parsa
Dear Parsa,
ReplyDeleteI like to watch the television show called cops and learn about how the different percedures are used that can leed to an arrest.I just recently visited the California Hyway Patrol in Woodland Hills and one of the officers took my brother and I to sit in his police car. We were both excited! I am hoping to join the police academy when I turn sixteen.
Sincerely,
Jakob Hart
@ Jakob,
DeleteGreat comment!
Sometimes I watch you and your friends play a cop game. Once a robber broke the glass of my dad's car, and took his laptop. I have never met a Highway Patrol. That experience must be great. I do not want to be a police officer when I grow up because there is a chance of getting shot.
Why do you want to be a police officer when you are 16?
Sincerely,
Parsa
Dear Parsa,
ReplyDeleteA congratulations for earning your own blog!
My favorite part of your first post is the story-telling photo of you playing a fierce game of basketball. It tells a fantastic story that you like to play basketball. Who were some of your rivals? When did this event take place?
I am in a chess club after school. Brenden is in the chess club too. Last time I was in chess, I beat a second grader in a three win match. I won the first match, he won the second match, and I won the third or tiebreaker match.
Sincerely,
R♔yce
@ Royce,
DeleteGreat comment, my friend!
Thank you for your congratulations! My favorite photograph is also the basketball one because it really does tell a story. I was against a bunch of second graders and first. Some of their names were Collin, Michale and Luke. My team was with one third grader and some 2nd and 1st. The third grader's name is Gregory.
I don't have a chess club. Sometimes I wish I do, but sometimes I think that I should just play with my little brother.
Sincerely,
Parsa
@ Parsa,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!
We are very proud of you for getting your own blog. We know it took a lot of work and dedication on your part, but it paid off. We know it was difficult at first, but now we love the way you write your comments with so much ease. We like the way your blog is taking shape and the way it looks. We think you picked a great background, and love the picture that Mrs. Yollis took and is on your blog. We love you very much and are very very very proud!!!!!
Love,
Mom and Dad
Parsa, You have done a very good job with your blog. Pasha
Dear Family,
DeleteThank you on your congratulations! It is true it was hard for me, but I got what I wanted all year long. It is so easy for me because Mrs. Yollis is teaching me all about blogging. One girl named Sarah told me she had the same background. At first, I thought that she had an orange background. I love the picture too. At first, I thought it was going to fail, but Mrs. Yollis took it and it was not blurry.
Sincerely,
Parsa
(P.S. Thank you very much Pasha)
@ Parsa,
DeleteYou are the best brother on the planet. I love you.
Pasha
hi parsa congrats on your blog and nice basketball shot. i hate to say this but im sorry clippers are not going to win the final, lakers are. keep on shooting hoops. remember you miss 100% of the shots you dont take. not only in basketball but in life overall. good luck.
ReplyDeleteDear Parsa,
ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing start to blogging. I can see the number of comments you have already gathered.
Do you share any of my hobbies?
Of the three you mentioned, my favorite is music. As I am often on the computer, I use iTunes to play music when working. I don't have an iPod as when I'm on long walks I like to hear what is happening around me.
Basketball isn't big in my town although it is played. The closest big sport like basketball we have is netball. There are two courts in town.
While I have played chess, I haven't played it for some time so I am very rusty on the game.
How do you like blogging?
Blogging is a big part of my daily routine now even though it is less than a year since I started blogging. I have five blogs, a website, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook to keep me busy. Of course, you probably already know I enjoy commenting on blogs around the world. :)
Keep blogging.

@ Mr. Mannell,
DeleteSo far I have got the least comments of all of the other blogs that Mrs. Yollis is the administrator. I have ITunes on my IPod, but I am not that much of a fan. About how much people play basketball in your town? I think that the world of blogging is great, but sometimes it is very hard to comment back to everyone because I play basketball a lot, so I don't have to0 much time to.
Sincerely,
Parsa
Dear Parsa,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You got your own blog! I like your shots on chess and basketball even though you might have asked other classmates. I am so proud of you. I would have guessed you would get a blog. Good luck shooting hoops!
Sincerely,

Dear Parsa,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your very own blog! I look forward to leaving several comments on it. I also play basketball, and I must say that it is a wonderfull sport. I like blogging because it is a great way to meet other people and learn about them too! I really enjoy your blog background.
Do you have any other hobbies, if so what are they?
Your friend,
Alexandra
@ Alexandra,
DeleteThanks! You are doing fantastic on your blog. I really like your blog's name. Alexandra's Awesome Anthology is one of the best names I have ever heard for a blog. I'm going to leave comments on your blog too. I know you play basketball because Aidan told me he saw you in his basketball class. Sarah said she has the same background, while I thought she had an orange one.
What position do you like to be in basketball?
Sincerely,
Parsa's Planet
Dear Parsa,
ReplyDeleteYour blog looks great! You have very strong leg muscles to jump so high in that picture. Since you love chess, you will have to come over soon and play a match with Royce.
I am looking forward to your next blog post.
Sincerely,
Tara (Royce's mom)
